I am a Computer Science PhD student at University of Central Florida under supervision of Prof. Lotzi Bölöni and Prof. Damla Turgut. During my PhD, I worked on developing smart walkers to provide focused care for people with limited mobility during rehabilitation. Currently, I work on developing intelligent virtual agents that can interact with users verbally or non-verbally. My focus is on implementing deep learning techniques to make the agent smarter and enable it to assist people in smart environments.
I received my Master's degree in Decision Science and Knowledge Engineering from University of Tehran, Iran. My Master's thesis was about application of Deep Learning in MRI Brain segmentation. I also received my Bachelor in Computer Science from Sharif University of Technology, Iran.
